💡AIST: A readout circuit dramatically increasing the number of pixels of a superconducting detector for photons, particles and electromagnetic waves

– New circuit, realization of compact, low power consumption, low-priced general-purpose high-performance instrument –

point

  1. Development of signal reading circuit for superconducting detector for downsizing, low power consumption, and low cost of high performance instrument
  2. Increase the number of signals that can be multiplexed on one readout wiring by devising frequency conversion, enabling drastic multi-pixelization
  3. Excellent performance over room temperature detector, expected for application to analytical electron microscope, photon microscope, radiation spectrometer

The details of this technology will be published in the journal Superconductor Science and Technology on February 1, 2018 (local time).
