🎇Ultra high precision measurement of antiproton magnetic moment

The International Collaborative Research Group of RIKEN Ulmer Basic Symmetry Laboratory, such as Staffan Ulmer’s researcher, has a relative uncertainty (Relative Accuracy) of less than 1.5 billion parts (Relative Accuracy) at 68% confidence level We have succeeded in directly measuring the magnetic moment of the antiproton with ultrahigh accuracy of 1.5 ppb). It is an achievement that improved accuracy up to 350 times so far.
This research will be posted on the online version (dated October 18: Japan time October 19) before being published in the UK science magazine “Nature” (October 19 issue). | RIKEN
