Japan: November new vehicle sales and vehicle type: Daihatsu Tanto is the top
Announced by the Japan Automobile Sales Association / National Light Automobile Association .
Mini cars:
1st place: Daihatsu “Tant”: Completely improved in July, greatly increasing to 20,1096 units, up 90% year-on-year.
2nd place: Honda “N-BOX”: Honda’s “N-BOX” minicar, which had been No. 1 so far, decreased by 3.5% to 18,806. Some improvements were made in October, and sales for the period from January to November have increased from the previous year.
3rd place: Suzuki “Spacia”: The minicar “Spacia” increased 8.5% to 12,820 units.
Standard-sized car:
For ordinary cars, Toyota cars accounted for 1-5.
1st place: Toyota “Corolla”: increased 25.1% to 10,705 units. Sales increased due to the impact of a complete renovation in September.
2nd place: Toyota “Sienta”: 10,331 units, up 2.8%,
3rd place: Toyota’s “Prius”: Toyota’s “Prius” entered with 8375 units, down 4.4%.
