Japan: October export to Korea, beer “zero”: Hydrogen fluoride recovered

October Japan trade statistics:

To Korea: Beer export

Beer exports to South Korea became zero due to the non-buying movement.

South Korea is the main export destination of Japanese beer.

Exports by country in 2018 were the top, accounting for about 60% of the total.

Since the deterioration of Japan-Korea relations, beer exports dropped sharply to 588,000 yen in September, down 99.9% from the same month last year.

To Korea: Export of “hydrogen fluoride”:

On the other hand, the export value of “hydrogen fluoride” used for cleaning semiconductors to South Korea decreased by 94.2% to 40,636,000 yen.

Due to stricter export controls, August was zero, but in September it gradually recovered to 3,723,000 yen.

It seems that the approval process by the Japanese government has progressed.

By the way, the export amount in October of last year was 715,15,000 yen.
