Japan: Hydrogen fluoride, exports to Korea down 88%: Beer down 99%

On February 27, the Ministry of Finance published its January trade statistics.
In semiconductor manufacturing, exports of hydrogen fluoride (used for cleaning) to Korea fell 88% year-on-year to 398 tons.
In December 2019, it recovered slightly to 793 tons, down 73% year-on-year.
However, it slowed down again from the beginning of the year.
In July 2019, the Japanese government tightened export screenings to Korea, and the pace of shipments has slowed.
