Kawasaki Heavy Industries has achieved a cumulative total of 5,000 accessory gearbox (AGB) modules for CF34 engines installed in regional jets of 70 to 110 seats.

The “CF 34” engine program is an international joint development project involving GE Corporation (USA), our company, Japan Aircraft Engine Association and IHI Co., Ltd.

Among them, we are responsible for developing, designing and manufacturing AGB modules, which are important parts for driving power generators in the cabin and hydraulic pumps etc. by obtaining output from the engine.

The “CF 34” engine is a best-selling engine that has been adopted by more than 150 airlines worldwide due to its high economy and reliability, “CRJ 700/900/1000” of Bombardier (Canada), Embraer Brazil) “E170 / 175/190/195”, and “ARJ 21” of China Commercial Flyer Limited Company (China) are exclusively installed in major regional jet aircraft.
