Kawasaki Heavy Industries has succeeded in the levitation test of a large hybrid drone.
Large hybrid drone:
Large drone with a total length of about 7 m x a total width of about 5 m x a total height of about 2 m
With a cargo of 200 kg or more,
Has a cruising range of 100 km or more,
It is a testing machine that verifies the possibility of a “flying light truck“.
“Ninja ZX-10R” engine:
High-performance motorcycle “Ninja ZX-10R” Generates power with three engines.
It drives eight motor propellers.
The engine generates the power required to drive the motor.
Unlike a drone powered only by a battery, it can sustain high output for a long time.
Relationship with helicopter:
The target is “transportation of medium- and medium-distance goods, which is economically difficult with helicopters”.
