Engine parts of airliners flying around the world already have parts made in Japan essential
On June 29 IHI delivered the engine for fighter aircraft named “XF 9 – 1” to the Defense Equipment Agency.
Even though XF 9 – 1 is a prototype engine, thrust exceeds 15 tons.
It has an output equal to or higher than that of engines of fighter aircraft active in the world such as “F – 15” in the United States and “Su – 35” in Russia.
