Denso: Strengthening partnership with Honeywell on electric aircraft

On May 24, Denso announced that it will start a joint venture with Honeywell International of the United States to “develop, produce and sell propulsion systems for electric aircraft.”

Both companies will focus on the field of urban air mobility.

Denso and Honeywell:

We have been co-developing since 2019, and we will strengthen the alliance for the next 10 years with this joint project.

Honeywell estimates:

Honeywell estimates that the urban air mobility market will grow to $ 120 billion by 2018.

Denso test flight:

We are already working on a project with a customer.
A test flight of the electric aircraft propulsion system is scheduled to be conducted in 2022.
