Kyocera has succeeded in developing the world’s first * 1 clay-type lithium-ion battery.
From January 2020, we will start a limited quantity sales of the new energy storage system “Enerezza”.
Full-scale mass production is scheduled to begin in the fall of 2020.
Features of ‘Enerezza’:
Positive and negative electrode layers can be designed to be 3 to 5 times thicker than conventional liquid-type lithium-ion batteries.
This time, the manufacturing process has been greatly simplified and the cost has been reduced.
