China Chemical and Physical Power Industry Association: Shipments of hydrogen fuel cells (see table)
According to the announcement (August 27), the shipment volume of hydrogen fuel cells from January to July 2019 was 45,877 kilowatts (kW), 7.4 times the same period of the previous year.
During the same period, the number of fuel cell vehicles (FCV) sold was 11.1 times, increasing rapidly to 1,106.
FCVs are not used as passenger cars for general consumers, but only for special vehicles such as buses and transportation.
Fuel cell bus shipments:
The new power source based in Dalian is 8,820 kW, and the largest customer is SAIC-Datong Motor, which has a capital relationship.
Hydrogen stations installed: 27 locations nationwide
As of August, more than 2,000 FCVs have been installed in China.
Jiading District (Anting) in Shanghai,
Haidian District (Yongfeng) in Beijing,
Foshan City, Guangdong Province, etc.
There are 27 hydrogen stations installed.
