China (CAAM): NEV sales declined for 3 months: manufacturers continue to struggle

In September, the total number of automobile sales in China was 2,271,000 units, a decrease of 5.2% from the same month last year.
The previous year’s results were interrupted for 15 consecutive months from July 2018.
In addition, vehicle sales from January to September (18,831,000 units) also decreased by 10.3% compared to the same period of the previous year.
New energy vehicle (NEV): (See Table 1)
New energy vehicles (NEV), on the other hand, performed well in the first half of the year, but sales in September began to decline year on year.
Unit sales in September decreased by 34.2% to 80,000 units, decreasing for the third consecutive month.
