Mitsubishi Shipbuilding established a mass production system for marine SOx scrubber (exhaust gas purification equipment) systems that “purify sulfur oxides (SOx) in exhaust gas”.
Recently, we have shipped “DIA-SOx® C Series” and “R Series” scrubber towers from our overseas affiliated factories (China and Taiwan).
- C Series Tower: Installed on LPG carriers and 300,000-ton class large tankers.
- R series tower: 20,000TEU (Note) Installed on container ships and 14,000TEU container ships.
DIA-SOx®: A marine SOx scrubber brand launched by Mitsubishi Shipbuilding.
- Cylindrical tower: The C series was developed by Mitsubishi Chemical
- Rectangular tower: Mitsubishi Hitachi Power Systems (MHPS) developed the R series
Developed jointly with each other.
Both are multi-stream systems that can process exhaust gas discharged from multiple engines at once.
