Mitsubishi Shipbuilding: LNG fuel supply system for ships
Mitsubishi Shipbuilding has completed the FGSS (Fuel Gas Supply System), a dual fuel main engine / LNG fuel supply system, and delivered it to LNG fuel / car carriers.
FGSS: (Fuel Gas Supply System)
This equipment will be delivered to Shinkurushima Toyohashi Shipbuilding Co., Ltd.
It will be installed on the LNG fuel / car carrier currently under construction by the company.
Mitsubishi Shipbuilding has realized this FGSS by utilizing LNG and vaporized gas handling technology.
After accumulating track record of delivering onshore engine test equipment, we are deploying it for ships.
Structure of FGSS:
LNG fuel tank and LNG vaporizer,
Gas supply equipment,
It consists of a control device.
Modularization enables optimal cargo space design and shortens the process at shipyards.
