Mitsubishi Chemical: Acquired Minger Kunststofftechnik AG: PEEK, PVDF recycling

Mitsubishi Chemical Corporation:
Mitsubishi Chemical has decided to acquire * 1 the engineering plastic recycling companies Minger Kunststofftechnik AG and Minger Plastic AG in Switzerland through Mitsubishi Chemical Advanced Materials.
The acquisition is expected to close by the end of February 2020.

We have our own excellent recycling technology for engineering plastics such as PEEK (polyetheretherketone), PVDF (polyvinylidene fluoride), and nylon.
Established a wide-area raw material recovery network in Europe.
Recycled materials trading has already been conducted with 100 customers.
We have established a business model for engineering plastic recycling in Europe.
With this acquisition, we will establish a “consistent business model from engineering plastic manufacturing / sales / processing / collection / reuse”.
