Brazilian agricultural export: China’s record high – China’s top, up 33.9% over the previous year

The Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply announced the agro business trade results (Note 1) of 2018 on 18th January.
The export value exceeded the 100 billion dollar for the first time, which is the highest since the export value was 101,686 million dollars (a 5.9% increase from the previous year).
The highest so far was $ 99,933 million in 2013.
In 2018 agro business exports account for 42.4% of Brazil’s total export value.

China top
It increased by 33.9% from the previous year to 35,599 million dollars (share 35.0%) in 2018,
USA
1.3%, to $ 6,806 million (share 6.7%),
Netherlands
An increase of 2.9% to 4.581 billion dollars (share 4.5%).
Japan
Decreased 17.8% to 2,138 million dollars, ranking 8th (2.1% share).
