Domestic passenger car sales in 2018 were 23.71 million units, down 4.1% from the previous year.

Passenger car market
Japanese, German and Korean brands performed well
China, the US and France brands are sluggish (see Table 1).
Ford and General Motors (GM)
US sales volume declined by 18.5% year-on-year
Market share also decreased by 1.8 points to 10.5%.
Sales of Japanese cars increased by 5.7% from the previous year
It shows the highest growth in the six major countries, and the market share has also expanded to 15.8% in 2016 and 18.8% from 17.0% in 2017 for the second consecutive year.
