Mitsubishi Heavy Industries:

The UAE spacecraft ordered by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries will be launched in July.

On May 18, announced that the H2A rocket will be launched from the Tanegashima Space Center in Kagoshima Prefecture at 5:51 am on July 15.

The H2A rocket will carry the Mars probe “HOPE” from the UAE Space Agency.

UAE: Explorer’HOPE

The UAE aims to reach Mars in 2021, the 50th anniversary of its founding.

MHI has launched three overseas satellites so far.

This is the first explorer that does not orbit the earth. The price is not disclosed.

Spacecraft overview:

Total length 2.9 meters,
2.37 meters wide,
Weight is 1.5 tons.
In addition to taking photographs, we will observe the atmosphere and climate of Mars with equipment using ultraviolet rays and infrared rays.

In April, the aircraft was brought into the Tanegashima Space Center.

Mitsubishi Heavy Industries hereby

announces the launch schedule of the H-IIA Launch Vehicle No. 42 (H-IIA F42)

which carries aboard the Emirates Mars Mission’s (EMM) Hope spacecraft developed by the Mohammed bin Rashid Space Centre (MBRSC) in the United Arab Emirates.

MBRSC is a Dubai government organization.
