“2020 Thai Japanese Restaurant Survey”:
JETRO announced on December 15th. ..
Number of Japanese restaurants in Thailand:
The total number of stores was 4,094, an increase of 12.6% from the previous year’s survey (see attached table).
Number of stores by region:
Bangkok has 2,105 stores, up 5.6% year-on-year
Other than that, there were 1,989 stores, up 21.0%.
By Industry:
With the expansion of franchise development, “sushi” increased significantly.
Beyond Japanese food (general Japanese food) such as restaurants and set meals.
