Kagome to Pull Plug on U.S. Family Food Biz .
Tokyo, Aug. 15 (Jiji Press)–Kagome Co. <2811> has announced a plan to sell out its shareholdings in U.S. food subsidiary Preferred Brands International Inc. to an investment firm under U.S. food giant Mars Inc., in a move to effectively withdraw from family food operations in the United States. The major Japanese food maker did not disclose the value of the deal. JIJI PRESS
