Global passenger car sales in 2020 are forecast to decrease by 15-20% year-on-year and in Western Europe by about 25%.

Daimler:

Passenger car sales in the third quarter of 2020 decreased by 6.3% from the previous year to 566,581 units.

From January to September 2020, 1,446,086 units decreased by 16.7% from the previous year.

Unit sales in China:

In the third quarter, it increased by 23.4% (213,84 units) from the previous year.
From January to September, it increased by 5.2% from the previous year (541,585 units).

January-September sales in Europe and North America:

Europe: 27.4% decrease from the previous year (532,388 units),

North America: Only 25.5% year-on-year decrease (189,554 units).

BMW:

In the third quarter, it increased by 8.6% from the previous year to 675,680 units.

EV and PHV sales:

In the third quarter, it recorded a 46.6% increase (54,719 units) from the previous year.
