EV Battery: Northvolt Establishes Manufacturing Base in Poland – with South Bay Solutions, USA

Sweden · Lithium battery maker Northvolt announced on October 22, in collaboration with South Bay solutions, to build a factory producing EV battery in Gdansk, in northern Poland.
Northvolt aims to produce EV batteries by companies in the EU region.
It is also one of the emerging companies that are drawing the attention of the European Battery Alliance (EBA).
Customers of South Bay solutions, such as Tesla and Lockheed Martin.
Companies to undertake the processing of semiconductors and automobile parts, complex assembly work etc.
This time, under the EBA, the South Bay solutions will be the first entry in the EU outside the country.
The new factory employs about 100 people. The annual production capacity is 10,000 units, and it is expected to be in operation in 2019.
