New car sales in September:

The number of new cars sold in September announced on October 13 was 2,565,000, an increase of 12.8% from the same month of the previous year.

Supported by the economic recovery and consumption stimulus measures by local governments, it recorded double-digit growth for the fifth straight month.

Japanese manufacturer:

Toyota increased by 25.3%

Honda increased by 22.3%

Nissan also increased by 5.1%, the first increase in two months.

September car sales:

The number of automobiles sold in September announced on October 13 increased by 12.8% from the same month of the previous year to 2,565,000 units.

It has increased from the same month of the previous year for 6 consecutive months since April, and has increased by double digits since May.

Looking at the breakdown,

Passenger car sales increased 8.0% to 2,088,000 units,
Commercial vehicles also increased by 40.3% to 4.77 billion units
New energy vehicles increased 67.7% to 138,000 units

January-September car sales:

It is still negative at 17,116,000 units, down 6.9% from the same period of the previous year.

The rate of decrease improved by 2.8 points from January to August.

New energy vehicle:

It has continued to be negative, down 17.7% year-on-year to 734,000 units.

The rate of decrease has shrunk by 8.7 points from January to August, showing a rapid improvement.
