Russia · oil mining giant Rosneft (Far East Sakhalin State natural gas · crude oil mining project “Sakhalin 1”) opposed other 5 partners (participating companies)
We asked for payment of 89.1 billion rubles (about 160 billion yen, 1 ruble = about 1.8 yen) and filed a suit against the Sakhalin State Arbitration Court.
According to the economic newspaper “RBK Daily” (July 23), Rosneft has filed a lawsuit in the Sakhalin 1 project (mining at the northern tip of Chibo and mining crude in the same oil layer in adjacent and other mining areas).
Rosneft, US giant Exxon Mobil, Japan’s Sakhalin Oil and Gas Development (SODECO), Indian Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) participate in this project.
