🔬NICT: Development of high precision chromatic aberration correction software for super-resolution microscope · Free-of-charge release
point
- Development of color misregistration correction method for microscopic images useful for life science / medicine research
- Improve the chromatic aberration correction accuracy indispensable for super-resolution microscope by about 10 times compared with the conventional one
- Software using this technology is released free of charge, promoting use of super-resolution microscopy in biotechnology field
NICT has developed high precision chromatic aberration correction software for super resolution microscope at future ICT laboratory. With this technology developed jointly with Osaka University and Oxford University, the accuracy of chromatic aberration correction in advanced fluorescence microscopes used for life science has been improved about 10 times compared with conventional, and about 15 nm in 3 dimensions (nm is 1 mm of 1 mm The accuracy of 1) was achieved.
