According to the announcement of motor intelligence (September 4, note), the annualized number of new car sales in the US in August (seasonally adjusted)  was 16.72 million units, continuing for the second consecutive month of 17 million units in July .

Looking at the number of new cars sold by major manufacturers (excluding General Motors (GM)), compared with the same month of the previous year, all manufacturers except Toyota are increasing.

Looking at each sector, although Toyota performed well in SUVs and pickup trucks, such as Highlanders, but passenger cars fell 15.1% to a factor of depression.

In other manufacturers, They could overcome the decrease in passenger cars by an increase in small trucks including SUVs, pickup trucks and vans.
