1. Crude Oil Trends
Imports of crude oil amounted to 15.86 million kl in March, 100.5% of the same month the year before, exceeding the previous year for the first time in 4 months. Looking in descending order of import volume,
(1) Saudi Arabia (6.34 million kl, 95.7% compared to the same month of the previous year)
(2) United Arab Emirates (4.13 million kl, 111.7% same)
(3) Qatar (1.51 million kl, 110.9% same)
(4) Kuwait (98 million kl, 93.9% same)
(5) Iran (97 million kl, 87.6% same).
Incidentally, this month’s dependence on the Middle East was 91.3%, up 0.7 points from the same month of the previous year, exceeding the previous year for 8 consecutive months.
2. Production of fuel oil
Production of fuel oil reached 15.35 million kl, 98.1% of the same month the year before, falling below the previous year for 4 consecutive months. In terms of oil type, kerosene, light oil and B / C heavy oil exceeded the same month of the previous year, but gasoline, naphtha, jet fuel oil and A heavy oil fell below the same month of the previous year.
3. Import and export of fuel oil
Imports of fuel oil amounted to 3,380,000 kl, up 130.5% from the same month last year, exceeding the previous year for 8 consecutive months. Exports were 2.71 million kl, 96.2% of the same month last year, falling below the previous year for 3 consecutive months.
4. Domestic sales of fuel oil
Domestic sales of fuel oils were 15.1 million kl, down from the previous year, 94.9% compared to the same month the year before. Gasoline, naphtha, jet fuel oil, kerosene and A heavy oil fell below the same month of the previous year, although gas oil and B · C heavy oil exceeded the same month of the previous year in oil type.
5. Stock of fuel oil
Inventory of fuel oil was 8.93 million kl, 105.3% compared to the same month last year, exceeding the previous year for the first time in 4 months. In terms of oil type, naphtha, jet fuel oil and kerosene exceeded the same month of the previous year, but gasoline, light oil, heavy oil A and B / C heavy oil fell below the same month of the previous year.
