International Joint Research Team:
Using space experiments (Kibo) and ground experiments, we conducted breeding experiments of mice in an environment where gravity was changed.
Regardless of space or the ground, living movement under different gravity was related to quantitative control of muscle and bone, and it became clear that one end of appropriate gravity load amount to increase of muscle and bone mass.
It is also expected that it will lead to the development of prevention and treatment of locomotive syndrome in the aging society in the future.
The results of this research were published in Scientific Reports, a British scientific journal, dated April 29.
