We have formed a development team of four parties.

We will jointly develop a new purely domestic high-performance medical mask (equivalent to N95).

First of all, domestic production and sales will start within the year.

Features of the newly developed product:

We believe that we should create medical masks that can be widely used overseas.

We have started “Original development of high-performance medical mask equivalent to N95”.

Development product specifications:

Use flexible materials and
Can be in close contact with the mouth and can withstand long-term continuous wearing
The filter cartridge part can be attached and detached and replaced.
The main body can be used repeatedly.

Implementation of standard evaluation test:

In addition, an evaluation test based on the DS2 standard (Note 2) is conducted.

We have obtained results showing the performance of the produced prototype that is equivalent to that of an N95 mask (reference figure).

In the future, we aim to certify N95 standard and DS2 standard.

(Note 1)
A mask that meets the N95 standard collects 95% or more of fine particles (droplet nuclei, etc.) of 5 μm or less.

The risk of infection with pathogens such as viruses of the wearer can be reduced.

(Note 2)
Standards set by the Japanese Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare for industrial and disposable dust masks.

A mask that meets the DS2 standard is capable of collecting 95% or more of fine particles of 5 μm or less, similar to the N95 mask.
