1. Crude Oil Trends
The crude oil import volume in December was 17.38 million kl, 97.6% lower than the previous year, lower than the previous year. Looking in descending order of import volume,
(1) Saudi Arabia (6.97 million kl, 99.1% compared to the same month of the previous year)
(2) United Arab Emirates (4.49 million kl, 108.3% same)
(3) Qatar (1,230,000 kl, 71.3% same)
(4) Kuwait (1.15 million kl, 132.2% same)
(5) Iran (108 million kl, 88.8% same).
Incidentally, this month’s dependence on the Middle East was 87.0%, up 0.2 points from the same month last year, exceeding the previous year for 5 consecutive months.
2. Production of fuel oil
Production of fuel oil reached 16.21 million kl, a decrease of 97.5% compared to the same month of the previous year, falling below the previous year. In terms of oil type, gas oil, A heavy oil exceeded the same month of the previous year, but gasoline, naphtha, jet fuel oil, kerosene and B / C heavy oil fell below the same month of the previous year.
3. Import and export of fuel oil
Imports of fuel oil amounted to 3.25 million kl, 107.0% compared to the same month of the previous year, exceeding the previous year for 5 consecutive months. Exports were 3.14 million kl, 118.5% compared to the same month of the previous year, which exceeded the previous year for the second consecutive month.
4. Domestic sales of fuel oil
Domestic sales of fuel oil reached 17.36 million kl, a decrease of 99.4% from the same month of the previous year, the third consecutive month below the previous year. In terms of oil type, kerosene and light oil exceeded the same month of the previous year, but gasoline, naphtha, jet fuel oil, A heavy oil and B · C heavy oil fell below the same month of the previous year.
5. Stock of fuel oil
Inventory of fuel oil was 950,000 kl, 97.6% of the previous year’s level, the first time in three months, lower than the previous year. Jet fuel and kerosene exceeded the same month of the previous year, but gasoline, naphtha, light oil, A heavy oil and B · C heavy oil fell below the same month of the previous year.
