1. Crude Oil Trends

The import amount of crude oil in April was 15.36 million kl, which was 91.2% lower than the previous year, down from the previous year.

Looking in descending order of import volume,

(1) Saudi Arabia (6.19 million kl, 93.6% compared to the same month of the previous year)

(2) United Arab Emirates (4.28 million kl, 107.8% same)

(3) Kuwait (1.39 million kl, 113.7% same)

(4) Qatar (920,000 kl, 78.1% same)

(5) Russia (800,000 kl, 76.3% same).

Incidentally, this month’s dependence on the Middle East was 89.4%, an increase of 5.4 points from the same month of the previous year, exceeding the previous year for 9 consecutive months.

2. Production of fuel oil

Production of fuel oil was 13.52 million kl, a decrease of 98.3% compared to the same month of the previous year, which was lower than the previous year for 5 consecutive months. In terms of oil type, naphtha, jet fuel oil and B · C heavy oil exceeded the same month of the previous year, but gasoline, kerosene, gas oil and A heavy oil fell below the same month of the previous year.

3. Import and export of fuel oil

Fuel oil imports were 2.36 million kl, the first time in nine months, 79.0% of the same month the year before, lower than the previous year. Exports were 2.38 million kl, 117.2% compared with the same month last year, exceeding the previous year for the first time in 4 months.

4. Domestic sales of fuel oil

Domestic sales of fuel oil were 13.18 million kl, a decrease of 94.7% from the same month of the previous year, for the second consecutive month, lower than the previous year. In terms of oil type, gas oil, A heavy oil exceeded the same month of the previous year, but gasoline, naphtha, jet fuel oil, kerosene and B / C heavy oil fell below the same month of the previous year.

5. Stock of fuel oil

Inventory of fuel oil was 990,000 kl, 98.8% lower than the previous year, lower than the previous year. Jet fuel and kerosene exceeded the same month of the previous year, but gasoline, naphtha, light oil, A heavy oil and B · C heavy oil fell below the same month of the previous year.
