1. Crude Oil Trends

The crude oil import volume in November was 15.86 million kl, 105.9% compared to the same month last year, exceeding the previous year for the first time in 4 months. Looking in descending order of import volume,

(1) Saudi Arabia (6,610,000 kl, 112.5% ​​compared with the same month of the previous year)

(2) United Arab Emirates (3.95 million kl, 107.5% same)

(3) Qatar (1,260,000 kl, 111.8% same)

(4) Kuwait (1.14 million kl, 146.0% same)

(5) Iran (92 million kl, 81.3% same).

Incidentally, this month’s dependence on the Middle East was 90.8%, an increase of 2.4 points from the same month last year, exceeding the previous year for 4 consecutive months.

2. Production of fuel oil

Production of fuel oil reached 14.83 million kl, a 100.1% increase from the same month last year, exceeding the previous year for the first time in 4 months. As for oil type, gasoline, naphtha, kerosene and light oil exceeded the same month of the previous year, but jet fuel oil A heavy oil A and B · C heavy oil fell below the same month of the previous year.

3. Import and export of fuel oil

Imports of fuel oil amounted to 2.87 million kl, 108.6% compared with the same month last year, exceeding the previous year for 4 consecutive months. Exports were 2.65 million kl, a year-on-year increase of 107.1% over the previous year.

4. Domestic sales of fuel oil

Domestic sales of fuel oil fell to 15.1 million kl, down from the previous year for the second consecutive month, 97.0% compared to the same month of the previous year. In terms of oil type, gas oil, gasoline, naphtha, jet fuel oil, kerosene, A heavy oil, and B · C heavy oil fell below the same month of the previous year, although diesel oil exceeded the same month of the previous year.

5. Stock of fuel oil

Inventory of fuel oil was 10.19 million kl, 104.9% of the same month last year, exceeding the previous year for 2 consecutive months. Looking at oil types, gasoline, naphtha, jet fuel oil, kerosene and B / C heavy oil exceeded the same month of the previous year, but gas oil and A heavy oil fell below the same month of the previous year.
