1. Crude Oil Trends

Oil imports in October amounted to 14.43 million kl, 95.8% of the same month the year before, falling below the previous year for 3 consecutive months. Looking in descending order of import volume,

(1) Saudi Arabia (5.73 million kl, 92.1% compared to the same month of the previous year)

(2) United Arab Emirates (3.75 million kl, 113.5% same)

(3) Qatar (1.13 million kl, 105.0% same)

(4) Kuwait (880,000 kl, 83.6% same)

(5) Iran (820,000 kl, 82.0% same).

The dependence on the Middle East this month is 87.7%, 0.7 points higher than the same month last year, exceeding the previous year for 3 consecutive months.

2. Production of fuel oil

Production of fuel oil reached 13.39 million kl, a decrease of 95.7% from the same month last year, falling below the previous year for 3 consecutive months. In terms of oil type, gasoline, kerosene and light oil exceeded the same month of the previous year, but naphtha, jet fuel oil, A heavy oil and B · C heavy oil fell below the same month of the previous year.

3. Import and export of fuel oil

Fuel oil imports were 2.73 million kl, 127.2% compared with the same month last year, exceeding the previous year for 3 consecutive months. Exports were 1.94 million kl, 81.9% of the same month the year before, falling below the previous year for the first time in 4 months.

4. Domestic sales of fuel oil

Domestic sales of fuel oil was 13.89 million kl, down from the previous year, 97.8% compared to the same month the year before. In terms of oil type, naphtha and kerosene exceeded the same month of the previous year, but gasoline, jet fuel oil, light oil, A heavy oil and B · C heavy oil fell below the same month of the previous year.

5. Stock of fuel oil

Inventory of fuel oil was 10.32 million kl, 100.0% (slight increase) compared to the same month last year, exceeding the previous year for the first time in 3 months. As for oil type, gasoline, jet fuel oil, kerosene, light oil and B · C heavy oil exceeded the same month of the previous year, but naphtha and A heavy oil fell below the same month of the previous year.
