1. Crude Oil Trends

The crude oil import volume in July was 14.4 million kl, 87.2% compared to the same month of the previous year, falling below the previous year for 2 consecutive months. Looking in descending order of import volume,

(1) Saudi Arabia (4.86 million kl, 73.8% compared to the same month of the previous year)

(2) United Arab Emirates (3.92 million kl, 113.9% same)

(3) Qatar (1.1 million kl, 84.9% same)

(4) Kuwait (1.6 million kl, 94.7% same)

(5) Iran (900,000 kl, 109.6% same).

Incidentally, this month’s dependence on the Middle East was 88.8%, up by 4.3 points from the same month last year, exceeding the previous year for 12 consecutive months.

2. Production of fuel oil

Production of fuel oil reached 13.44 million kl, a decrease of 91.6% from the same month of the previous year, falling below the previous year for 8 consecutive months. In terms of oil type, A heavy oil exceeded the same month of the previous year, but gasoline, naphtha, jet fuel oil, kerosene, light oil and B / C heavy oil fell below the same month of the previous year.

3. Import and export of fuel oil

The import of fuel oil was 2.75 million kl, which was 106.0% higher than the previous year, up from the previous year. Exports were 2.41 million kl, 82.2% compared with the same month in the previous year, falling below the previous year for 2 consecutive months.

4. Domestic sales of fuel oil

Domestic sales of fuel oil fell to 13.5 million kl, a decrease of 97.8% compared with the same month last year, for the fifth consecutive month. As for oil type, jet fuel and A heavy oil exceeded the same month of the previous year, but gasoline, naphtha, kerosene, light oil and B · C heavy oil fell below the same month of the previous year.

5. Stock of fuel oil

Inventory of fuel oil was 8.99 million kl, 92.4% compared with the same month of the previous year, falling below the previous year for 4 consecutive months. In terms of oil type, gas oil, gasoline, naphtha, jet fuel oil, kerosene, A heavy oil, and B · C heavy oil fell below the same month of the previous year, although diesel oil exceeded the same month of the previous year.
