1. Crude Oil Trends
Imports of crude oil in September was 139.2 million kl, down from the previous year, 92.1% compared to the same month of the previous year. Looking in descending order of import volume,
(1) Saudi Arabia (4.99 million kl, 86.9% compared to the same month of the previous year)
(2) United Arab Emirates (3.33 million kl, 82.8% same)
(3) Qatar (1.15 million kl, 104.8% same)
(4) Kuwait (1.1 million kl, 83.7% same)
(5) Iran (710,000 kl, 69.0% same).
The dependence on the Middle East this month is 86.1%, down 3.0 points from the same month of the previous year, falling below the previous year for the first time in 14 months.
2. Production of fuel oil
Production of fuel oil reached 137.6 million kl, 95.2% of the same month the year before, falling below the previous year for 10 consecutive months. In terms of oil type, kerosene and A heavy oil exceeded the same month of the previous year, but gasoline, naphtha, jet fuel oil, light oil and B / C heavy oil fell below the same month of the previous year.
3. Import and export of fuel oil
Imports of fuel oil amounted to 2.88 million kl, 138.3% higher than the previous year, exceeding the previous year. Exports were 2.9 million kl, down from the previous year for the fourth consecutive month, 88.5% compared to the same month of the previous year.
4. Domestic sales of fuel oil
Domestic sales of fuel oil reached 13.01 million kl, a decrease of 96.5% from the same month the year before, a year-on-year decrease for the 7th consecutive month. In terms of oil type, gas oil, A heavy oil exceeded the same month of the previous year, but gasoline, naphtha, jet fuel oil, kerosene and B / C heavy oil fell below the same month of the previous year.
5. Stock of fuel oil
Inventory of fuel oil reached 10.33 million kl, 101.6% of the same month last year, exceeding the previous year for the first time in 6 months. In terms of oil type, gasoline, naphtha and diesel fuel exceeded the same month of the previous year, but jet fuel oil, kerosene, A heavy oil and B · C heavy oil fell below the same month of the previous year.
