Int’l Robotics Summit: WRS, South Denmark University Team Winning -3 Key Technologies
In the World Robot Summit (WRS) manufacturing department, the South Denmark University (SDU) team in Denmark won the championship.
SDU focuses on robotics and manufacturing technology, and has devised various contrivances even in competition.
WRS strategy
With three technologies, I came to WRS.
First: 3D printer
In the competition venue, we manufacture nails and jigs for robots and flexibly deal with changes in parts etc.
Second: force control (force sense control)
Robots have been controlled on a location basis so far.
With Force sensor, adjust work force and work
Third: Unified management of interfaces
Unify control of force sensor, vision, robot etc through one interface
Dramatically shortening development time by centralized management
