Italy Turboden: binary power generation facilities: Saskatchewan, Canada / For indigenous people

Turboden S.p.A:

◆ Supplying carbon-neutral 8,000 kW class power using woody biomass fuel

◆ Supply to about 5,000 households, helping to reduce air pollution

Turboden S.p.A of the Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Group has recently signed a contract in Canada to deliver wood biomass fuel / 8,000 kW binary power generation.

Meadow Lake:

Saskatchewan, Canada / Indigenous Settlement

Located near Lake Meadow on the northwestern outskirts of the state, it is home to several indigenous tribes.

Binary power generation facilities:

The Government of Canada and the Saskatchewan State Authority will also support the Tribal Council’s operations.

The power generation facility uses biomass residues, such as scrap wood from the sawmill, as boiler fuel.

5,000 households will be supplied with carbon-neutral 6,600kW baseload power.
