Mitsubishi Electric: “Airport Weather Doppler Rider” for Nice International Airport of France
Background and aims of orders
We began delivering “airport weather Doppler rider” for wind observation at sunny weather in 2015.
Today, 5 units are operated at Tokyo International Airport (Haneda), Narita International Airport, Hong Kong International Airport (China).
It will be delivered to Beijing Daxing International Airport (China) and Atalya International Airport (Turkey) in FY 2018.
Taking the order for this international airport for Nice as an opportunity, we aim to expand orders in Europe, aiming at global sales of 2.5 billion yen.
