Shimizu Corporation: Construction of a cleaning plant for the Vietnamese Government and defoliant / dioxin contaminated soil

In Vietnam there are many dioxin-contaminated soils derived from defoliants sprayed by the US military during the Vietnam War.

There are high concentration contaminated areas in 28 places such as Da Nang, Bien Hoa, Fukat Airport, etc. at the former US military bases.

Currently, serious health damage is a big social problem.

The Government of Vietnam has set the goal of completing soil remediation projects throughout the country by 2030 with the aim of resolving such negative heritage.
