Mitsubishi Electric to construct new plant for motor vehicle inverter in the Czech Republic

A new plant will be built at Mitsubishi Electric Automotive Czech Republic (MEAC: Automotive Parts Manufacturing and Sales Base) in the Czech Republic, and production of motors and inverters for electric vehicles will begin.
MEAC was established in 2000, with a stake of Mitsubishi Electric 90% and Mitsubishi Electric Europe (Head office: 10%).
As of January 2019, the number of employees is 423.
Slany City Factory in Central Bohemia:
Produces automotive electrical components such as alternators, starters and electric power steering (EPS).
Product delivery:
Japanese manufacturers such as Nissan, Suzuki, Honda and JTEKT
Daimler, Renault, Peugeot Citroen, Fiat Chrysler, Opel,
Hyundai and Kia.
