Linear Shinkansen is scheduled to open between Tokyo and Nagoya in 2027 after 9 years.
On 28th, the scene of Shinagawa Ward, the starting point of this construction, was made public to the press.
A huge vertical hole with a diameter of about 30 meters and a depth of about 90 meters has been dug.
In the future, we will carry excavating machines and shield machines to the bottom of this hole and dig tunnels of approximately 9 km.
