“Daichi”: Japan Food Importer
Based in Vladivostok, in the Far East of Russia, it is a major Japanese food importer with around 500 wholesale outlets.
Since its establishment in 2000, the sales network has been expanded, and now the major supermarkets “Azbuka Fukusa” and “Magnito” are also wholesalers.

I heard about the latest trend (February 15)
(Q) How are you evaluating 2018 operating income? (A) Sales in the last two to three years have been stable.
(Question) About products and wholesalers. (A) soy sauce and instant noodles popular. The wholesale destination is basically a supermarket.
(Q) How is the handling situation and evaluation of products in other countries? (Answer) The product is basically made in Japan.
We used to handle cheap Korean products before,
The only Korean products currently handled are kelp.
Korean products have many importers and competition is fierce.
Q: The difference between the Russian Far East and other regions in Russia,
(A) Unlike the other regions of Russia, the Far East has a culture that can accept Asian food.
In particular, soy sauce is already used for meat cooking in ordinary households, and there are many ordinary consumers who understand the difference in quality.
Also, in recent years, I think that more people are interested in the increase in flights to Japan and Japanese products.
We are always looking for new products. If there is a product that you want to sell in Russia, I would like you to provide information.
