Reduce CO2 emissions from factories and offices to virtually “zero” by 2030.

Zero CO2 emissions:

The gas generated from sweet potato-related waste generated in the shochu manufacturing process is burned to generate electricity.

Manufacture and utilization of biogas:

Kirishima Shuzo

Unused parts of shochu dregs and sweet potatoes, etc.
Ferment the waste with methane,
Manufactures biogas.
It burns biogas to generate electricity and sells it to Kyushu Electric Power.

In the future, 130 company cars will be switched to EVs by 2030.
