JR East:
JR East and others have developed hydrogen-powered trains.
The vehicle for hydrogen power generation has been released.
We aim to put it into practical use in 2030 without emitting carbon dioxide while driving.
Japanese goverment:
Aiming at the spread of hydrogen, the supply cost strategy was summarized last year.
Presented a policy to reduce the “supply cost” of hydrogen to one-fifth in the future.
Procurement of hydrogen from overseas:
ENEOS, Kawasaki Heavy Industries, etc.
We will procure hydrogen from overseas at less than one-third the cost of the past, and will start by 2027.
