JR East Japan:
We have been developing fuel cell Train that use hydrogen as an energy source.
We will produce “Hybrid vehicle (fuel cell) Train” and carry out demonstration tests on the sales route.
FCV / Test vehicle: Demonstration test
This is the world’s first fuel cell and rail vehicle that uses 70MPa high pressure hydrogen.
This will allow you to extend your mileage.
JR East will promote efforts to utilize hydrogen and accelerate its move towards a low carbon society.
