Since 2016, we have been promoting joint research and development for the realization of a remote construction system by coordination of remote control and automatic control.

Currently, research and development is being carried out for three years in the Kashima Nishijima Experiment Field (Kanagawa Prefecture).

We experimented with two kinds of automated construction machines that imagined the construction of a manned base by unmanned work on the moon.

We were able to find out “the feasibility of base construction”.

[Overview of research and development]

There are four major steps in the construction of an unmanned manned base in the month.

  1. Leveling work of module setting place which becomes 1 residence space
  2. Drilling work to a predetermined depth
  3. 3 Module installation work
  4. Soil cover work to shield the 4 modules from meteorites and radiation
