JAL: KDDI introduces “au 5G” service: “JAL Innovation Lab”

Japan Airlines (JAL) will introduce “au 5G” service provided by KDDI to “JAL Innovation Lab”.
From March 30, 2020, domestic airlines will begin using 5G for the first time.
“Au 5G”: Service introduction
To date, we have conducted two demonstration experiments to pursue the potential of airline operations / 5G utilization.
We are accelerating efforts to further utilize 5G operations.
“Au 5G”: Future business
It will be used for maintenance work such as “Remote work support for aircraft maintenance”, which was implemented in the second demonstration experiment.
