On November 17, 2021, the world’s first combined water-air drone was made to fly autonomously.

We have succeeded in demonstrating the shooting of underwater conditions remotely.

Water-Sky Combined Drone:

The aerial drone and the underwater drone are united,
It is possible to fly in the sky and dive in the water,
The world’s first drone.

It also supports mobile communication.

Autonomous flight / remote control and
Images from aerial and underwater cameras
Real-time transmission is possible.

Dive / shooting with acoustic positioning device:

Underwater, the Global Positioning System (GPS) cannot be used.

You can dive and shoot while checking the location information with the acoustic positioning device.

This verification test:

It was held at the J-Power Wakamatsu General Office with the cooperation of J-Power.

Underwater photography was carried out using a water-air combined drone.

Inspection of offshore wind power generation equipment and
Assuming a survey of the conditions of seagrass beds that will become fishing reefs.

Traditional underwater photography:

A large ship was set out, and divers were submerged in the water to shoot.
