COVID-19: Toyota’s improved disinfection stand: disinfection ambassador

Toyota Motor:

On November 25th and December 1st, it announced that it would release a foot-operated disinfection stand “Shodoku Ambassador”.

Production will begin on a scale of 2000-2500 units a month.

It will be sold through domestic Toyota dealers and rental leasing stores.

Production will be carried out at the Kamigo Parts Center (Toyota City, Aichi Prefecture).

Toyota to Release Foot-Operated Sanitizer Stands

said it will start selling foot-operated sanitizer stands through its car dealers across Japan on Tuesday.

The product was developed based on sanitizer stands that were produced by Toyota employees for in-house use in early April,

when the automaker’s production lines were halted due to the spread of the new coronavirus, according to the company’s announcement on Wednesday.
