LCD supply increase: declining TV demand

The Korean economic newspaper quoted several industry officials.

The reason is that China’s LCD supply increases, global TV demand declines, and US-China trade friction.

Samsung produces about 250,000 LCD panels a month in Korea.

8.5 generation LCD production line;

Operation of “L8-1”: Stopped in August and reduced 90,000 sheets per month.

“L8-2-1” line: Reduce production by 30,000 per month from September.
